Sometimes it feels like my son has more of a social life than I do.
Last weekend was playdate weekend for Noey. First up was an afternoon with the October Babies on Friday.
Totally forgot to get the kids to take a group shot so this would have to do!
All 4 bubs have grown so much since the last time we met up during their joint birthday party. They are all now adept walkers and so playdates certainly aren't as sedentary for us Mummies as they used to be. Instead, they all took turns (with Noey leading by bad example) to explore our small apartment carrying toys, boxes and Yuling's clorets. Thankfully it being a public holiday, DD was home to help out with some babysitting so us Mummies had more time to just chat. And of course he was on hand to take the photos.
Noey: Oh lookie here, what have I managed to get off Raeann's Mummy while she was busy handing out the biscuits?
Noey: I think I'm just going to put it just behind here till everyone has forgotten about it...
Bean: Gasp! I saw that! Aunty Yuling!
Noey: What? What?
Bean: Hmmm, there must be something I can do about this situation...
Kate: Hey, what are you doing back there? What's that? Let me see!
Noey: Ok, I'll show it to you, but you can't hold it.
Kate: Oh, Auntie Yuling's Clorets! That's not yours, gimme that!
Noey: Hey, no!
Noey: I'm off!! RUN!!!
Noey: Bean, good, you're still here. Hey if I give you your Mum's phone, can you please not tell Auntie Yuling that her Clorets are with me? Please?
Raeann: Noey! I saw that! Give that back to my Mummy!
For the record, yes, Raeann managed rescue the Clorets and return them to her Mummy and Noey was none the wiser. Heh. Well, Clorets or no Clorets, Noey and I certainly had a great time. Noey had so much fun playing with everyone that after they left we had to force him to sleep, whereupon he konked off and refused to be roused for dinner. We missed our dinner appointment, but hey, it's not everyday that your friends come over for an afternoon.
Looking forward to Christmas!
Noey has such cheeky smile in the 'run off' picture. So cute!
