Airport Activities

We headed to T3 for a dinner catch-up cum playdate on Saturday. Yes, T3! Everyone who heard about our dinner destination was a bit mystified but really, it was just that we wanted to avoid the weekend crowds in town and decided to try somewhere new. Plus we were guaranteed space for the kids to run around, which to me is always a good thing. So to T3 we went.

Except, we found, to our surprise, that the airport was really teeming with people! Probably as a result of a combination of the holiday season and Sitex at Expo that weekend. And amazingly, we managed to run into a friend right by the lifts -- she'd just returned from the UK. But even with all the people all round, the great thing about the cavernous building is that it didn't feel crowded. We managed to have dinner with 4 tots in tow at Crystal Jade La Mian and then moved downstairs for the kids to run off their energies in an unused check-in counter. And run they did! (Alas, in separate directions.)

"Alright! I get to run around? Seriously? Coming right at you Papa!

Noey contemplates all that SPAAAAAACE around him...

... and promptly runs out of bounds towards the escalators. That's my son for you.

"And this is how you walk like you own the place..." Noey talking to his imaginary friend.

One with Mummy when we finally caught up with him.

And one with the rest of the gang!

As it turns out, Noey is going to get more airport fun next week cos we will be heading to Hong Kong for a short trip. As is typical of us, we decided at the last minute, grabbed like the last possible tickets (without paying an arm and a leg), booked a hotel and that's that! Looking forward to it! Though probably not looking forward as much to Noey running circles in the airport!

  1. Yahahaha, they were all running all over the place but not with each other!

Soon, they will be running off together. :)
