Everyone meet Zoe!
An early Christmas present for Josh, Mich and Sophie (she was actually due on Christmas Day!) and we all couldn't be more excited. "I have a new baby!", Sophie proudly declared when we popped by for a visit. And brand new she was indeed.
"What is that clicking sound??"
Zoe meets Uncle DD (and his camera) for the first time. Yes, showing an amazing sense of awareness for a newborn, she turned to look at the camera, following the clicking.
Of course I had to ask to carry her and was immediately turned to mush. I never used to be like that but now I can't resist these ity-bity babies.
Also, I finally understand why 3kg feels like nothing to seasoned parents, when we were complaining about the weight as new parents.
Sophie has been a great big sister so far, asking to hold her new mei mei and bestowing her with kisses. There were some concerns that she wouldn't take to having to share her parents with her new sister well, but so far, there have been no issues. Godpa and Godma-in-law here (I never did find a better name!) are very proud of her.
If seeing little Zoe wasn't enough to make me feel like I want another baby, seeing Mich cradle both of her girls in her arms pushed me ever closer.
Do we dare take the plunge?
Ha, I'll have everyone over when Dot!'s out too *evil grin* =D
ReplyDeleteWhenever you bOth (and noey) are ready!;)
ReplyDeleteShe looks just like her sister! Congrats to the new parents :)
ReplyDeleteWe are closing in on the that 2 year mark and are starting to face similar questions (both from ourselves and those around us) too!
ReplyDeleteOooh, you might be the one to lend Candice a #2 for pics!! Hahahaha.
ReplyDeleteMichelle :: I hope so -- I'm looking forward to meeting her! :)
ReplyDeleteLilsnooze :: Oh, we'll just spring it on Noey! Haha. I think he will be fine with it, if not immediately then eventually!
Debra :: Yes, she does, doesn't she? I felt like I was looking at little Sophie all over again! Zoe looks a teeny bit more like her Mummy to me though.
Sockling :: It's certainly something to think hard about. Good luck with figuring out the best course for your family.
Amanda :: Haha, Candice has plenty of time to come up with a baby of her own before any #2 comes along!
