She's here!

I hit 39 Weeks yesterday.

Just the night before, I was commenting (ok, complaining) to DD how we were moving into uncharted territory, since Noey was born at 38 weeks and 6 days.

That very night, contractions started, and yesterday at 1313, our little Naomi came into this world.

I look at her with her chubby cheeks and her little rosebud mouth, and I can feel myself falling in love again. The feeling is a little surreal -- it is not how I love Noey, not right now. Whereas I love Noey with a love that comes from knowing someone virtually inside out, with Naomi, I don't know her. Not yet. I'm see her and she's new to me. But when she is in my arms, I look at her and I know I already know her in my heart.

And just like that, we're parents of 2!

claragaby :: i have hairy babies - noey too. :) that was one of the few times she had her eyes open on the first day after birth!

debra :: i didn't think so at first but yes, upon comparing their newborn pics, i do see some similarities. will be fun to see how alike they will be growing up.

dreamlaughlive :: hey there! thanks, i remember you -- just realised that you gave birth recently too. congrats! hope you're doing well.

pam :: thanks dear! we loved the name v early on and while i didn't want to restrict ourselves to another N name, we couldn't find anything better.
