On Thursday, Noey realised that he could pick himself off the floor by himself. (Previously he would crawl up to a surface -- or me, usually -- to pull himself up.) And since then, there's just been no stopping him.
Up and down the corridor, in and out of the rooms he would go, usually with something in his hands. His favourite item is probably DD's blackberry, especially when it's playing music. We kinda appreciate the fact that it allows us to track where he is without having to follow after him when he runs out of the room!
It feels like it wasn't that long ago when he took his first steps. In a matter of a few weeks, he seems to have moved from wanting us to hold his hand all the time to walk, to shrugging off our hands every time we move in to hold him, especially when we're trying to steer him in a different direction. When he refused to hold us and toddled off on his own, DD rather worriedly told me that we have to do more to "stay relevant". Haha.
This boy is growing up too fast.
